Welcome to the garden design process. At times it can be hard work coping with the disruption to your garden but we aim to make it as painless as possible. Nevertheless we guarantee that it will be fun, sometimes frustrating but ultimately rewarding. Our aim is to create a garden for you that fits like a glove in that works for you, and will not cost you more than your budget allows.

Stages of the design process:

1 The design brief involves us discussing your requirements followed by a short visit to your property to assess the work involved and how we can best produce it within your budget. It is also a time for you to get to know us, our work and, hopefully, establish the beginning of a successful working relationship.

2 A fixed price quotation for the design work would be presented. We want you to be excited by the design proposals and will work to that end with you to a maximum of 3 changes to the initial concept.

3 On acceptance of our quotation we will put the first concept design together.

4 The first concept design is presented. On acceptance of the concept we will go onto the next stage, otherwise alterations will be made until an acceptable
concept is accomplished.

5 Detail drawings of certain features as and when necessary.

6 Planting plans as and when necessary.

7 On acceptance of all drawings a specification is drawn up for the quotation of the construction and planting out of the garden. On acceptance of the quotation we will go onto the next stage, otherwise adjustments will be made until an acceptable price is achieved.

8 Once a start date for the construction has been agreed, a schedule and contract of the works will be made.

9 The work carried out will be managed by ourselves and carried out by reputable garden companies or specialists in your area.

10 Following completion we offer a maintenance program. This involves making a schedule of works to be carried out through the year, which will be implemented by a professional gardener from your area.
